Everyone loves a good story line where mankind must unite to save planet Earth from extraterrestrial invaders. Who doesn’t remember those great games where aliens come down from the sky and your job is to destroy each and every one of them without getting vaporized in the process? That’s exactly the kind of game you get from ProtoType 2, a free game for Windows PC.
ProtoType 2 is a classic among classics. In its three levels, you will face off against hundreds of enemy ships that are constantly shooting at you. Three levels might not sound like a lot, but they aren’t easy to get through at all. To help you beat them, you can have some extra weapons you can pick up while the enemy attacks are raining down on you. For example, you have missile launchers, equipment to make your attacks more powerful, etc. They aren’t easy to get, but when you finally get them, they will make your life a lot easier.
You can control your ship in ProtoType 2 with the arrow buttons on the keyboard and shoot three different ways using the keys Z, X and C. The graphics are really impressive for a free game, so you will definitely want to give it a shot.
